• Awarded Membership of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (India) in 2015 for his outstanding contribution to the field of oncology.
• Received the honor of presenting oral papers at prestigious international conferences — the Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) in 2009, and the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) in 2018.
• Conferred the ISMPO Oration Award at the Biennial ISMPO-ISO Meeting, Indore, in November 2019, for his presentation titled “Gallbladder Cancer: Plethora of Research Potent.”
• Won First Prize in the Oncology Research Award (2019) by AIIMS, New Delhi, for his clinical research titled “Modified Gemcitabine and Oxaliplatin or Gemcitabine and Cisplatin in Unresectable Gallbladder Cancer: Results of a Phase III Randomised Controlled Trial.”
• Honored with the “Excellence Award in the Field of Medical Oncology” by the Chancellor of NIMS University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, on 25th March 2022.
• Recipient of the ASCO IDEA in 2002 for academic excellence and contribution to oncology education.
• Authored and co-authored over 350 research papers published in reputed journals, contributing significantly to advancements in medical oncology.
