Dr. K.K. Handa is the Chairman of ENT and Head & Neck Surgery at Medanta, and over 36 years of specialized experience in this field. He has been heading the Department of ENT and Head & Neck Surgery since Medanta’s inception in 2009.
Prior to that, he had been working as an Associate Professor in the Department of ENT at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, where he had served as a faculty member for 13 years. He had also been appointed as a Senior Resident at PGIMER, Chandigarh.
He has been recognized as the former President of the Association of Phono-Surgeons of India, and association’s Founder Secretary, and foremost voice and laser surgeons in the country.
His expertise includes: laryngology, voice surgery, laser surgery, cochlear implants, endoscopic sinus surgery, microscopic ear surgery and head and neck surgery.
He was also the Commonwealth teacher’s fellowship for Training in Lasers, Glasgow Royal Infirmary, U.K. in 2004
