He along with his colleagues performed over 1000 blood and marrow transplants and cell therapies.
He has successfully performed matched related and unrelated donor transplants/Cord blood transplants, and haploidentical bone marrow transplants for thalassemia, sickle, aplastic anemia, leukemia, primary Immune deficiency and metabolic disorders.
His key interests include cell therapy, such as CAR-T cell therapy, virus-specific T-cell therapy, and donor lymphocyte infusions.
He authored numerous publications in national and international journals of his work receiving over 1,000 citations
He has served as a teaching faculty for the Fellowship of the National Board of Examinations, (FNB) in Pediatric Hematology Oncology for over 10 years.
He has trained over 30 fellows in pediatric hematology oncology, many of them, now serve as consultants in leading institutions in India and abroad.
